Q & A With Chelsea

I would choose to freedive with sharks over having a gecko in my room anyday. I’m terrified of all lizards. Also, I have my freediving certification, motorcycle license, advanced scuba certification, acroyoga teacher certification and have competed in horseback riding, tennis, canoe paddling, and running - I love being capable at as many things as possible. But I can’t whistle.

To me House of ALOHA means any space we create with love as the driving force. It can be a home, a meeting place or a space inside myself where I cultivate kindness, respect, inspiration, and connection.Since ALOHA can mean hello or goodbye, it is an endless space with no ending and beginning where everyone is welcome and everything is possible.

I use my ALOHA Collection products in so many ways. My most used item is the Mid Pouch because I have a few that are constantly in rotation. One is for my toiletries, I keep my harddrives and small electronics in another, and my shampoos or anything likely to spill in another. I also have used the pouches for packing dirty shoes and keeping my suitcase organized on expeditions. The Day Tripper fits perfectly in my bike basket and I love my Mini Hip Pack for ease when on flights.

I’m a big fan of multi-purpose items when traveling. I usually bring a Pareo that can double as a scarf, blanket, or wrap top. My ALOHA Collection Day Tripper is something I use for a travel carry-on, a grocery shopping bag and beach bag. For my clothes I’ve learned I can pack a lot more efficiently if I try everything on as I’m packing. Anything I don’t love the fit of or isn’t part of a matching outfit I leave behind. Anything that fits well, is reversible or multi-use tends to be packed first!
