Keep It Light® Weekenders

The Keep It Light Weekender measures 18.5″ wide × 12″ tall × 7″ deep, with a small front zipper pocket and an interior zipper pocket. It's made from 100% ripstop nylon (130 gsm) and is sized to fit in the overhead bin on most major airlines and tuck under most plane seats when soft-packed.

Yes. The Keep it Light® Weekender is sized to fit as a carry-on on most major US airlines, both in the overhead bin and under the seat in front of you when it’s not fully stuffed. The built-in trolley sleeve on the back also lets you secure the Weekender onto the handle of your rolling luggage for easier airport navigation on connecting flights.

Keep it Light® Nylon is a 100% ripstop nylon with a water-resistant DWR coating, designed for lightweight travel and carry-on use. Splash-Proof® is ALOHA Collection’s signature water-resistant material designed specifically to keep wet items separate from dry used in pouches, totes, and beach bags. Many travelers carry both: a Keep it Light® Weekender as the main bag, plus a Splash-Proof® pouch inside for wet swimsuits or toiletries.

The Keep it Light® Weekender is water-resistant, not fully waterproof. The 100% ripstop nylon is treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating that protects against rain and splashes, but heavy exposure to water can permeate.

The Keep It Light® Weekender is easy to clean. Wipe down with a damp cloth for daily maintenance, hand wash with mild soap in the sink for deeper cleans, or toss it in the washing machine on the delicate cycle. Always lay flat to dry, avoid the tumble dryer to protect the ripstop nylon and DWR coating.

More than you expect! For a typical 2-to-4-day warm weather trip, the Keep it Light® Weekender can fit: 2–3 outfits (folded or rolled), a pair of shoes, a toiletry kit, pajamas, and a small tech kit. It's also big enough to use as a hospital/maternity bag, or a gym bag with extra clothes and shoes. The shape is unstructured and packs down flat, so it carries softer items efficiently.

Yes, there is a pass-through trolley sleeve on the back of the bag, which slides over the telescoping handle of any standard rolling suitcase. This lets you stack the Weekender on top of your rolling luggage so it travels with you through the airport hands-free.
